Comprising a decanter, nine glasses and a tray, the silver mounts embossed and pierced with courting figures and gardeners beneath cartouche and swag borders, the decanter engraved with floral and foliate roundels and ruffled scrolls, the stopper with bacchanalian finial, the tray with two cartouches repousse with 'Athena' and her owl, and two of rustic buildings, the glasses etched with trellis diaperwork cartouches and foliage, each with Hanau pseudo hallmarks beneath, all but the tray also marked "800." 20.33 troy ozs. weighable Decanter: H: 9.625 in., W: 4.125 in., D: 2.625 in.
