Truman, Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso, Arthur Miller, Marilyn Monroe, Ronald Reagan, Mickey Mantle, and Audrey Hepburn. However, he maintained that even if the subject is not known, or is already forgotten, the photograph itself must still excite and interest the viewer.
