Item Details
Description
One of the finest scratch painted Holly black ducks we have ever seen. Last quarter 19th century. Scratch painting on sides of head and a lighter color off white on the underside of the duck. 16" long.
Condition
Strong original paint with feather looping covering the back; paint has tightened and slightly crazed on head; a few small rough spots, dents, and wear from in use gunning, otherwise excellent.
