TWO PAIRS OF EARLY 19TH CENTURY SILVER SAUCE LADLES
the first pair, by Duncan Urquhart & Naphtali Hart, London 1807, Old English pattern; the second Scottish pair, marks of Alexander Henderson and J W Howden & Co, Edinburgh 1819 and 1820, King's pattern, engraved. (4) First pair 16cm long, 5.5 troy ounces gross
The pair of London ladles with clear marks. There are some light surface scratches, but they are generally in good condition. The pair of Edinburgh ladles with clear marks. One ladle with a tiny split of approx. 2mm to the edge of the bowl where it joins to the handle, it does not go all the way through.
