§ A GEORGE IV SILVER TEAPOT
by Joseph Angell I, London 1822, of squat lobed form, the flat hinged cover with a floriform finial, the rim cast with scrolls and foliage above a leaf-capped spout opposed by a leaf-capped reeded handle, raised on a scalloped foot. 29cm long, 23.3 troy ounces
With non-transferable standard ivory exemption declaration number XFPLA8H2
The marks are a little rubbed but legible. The hinged cover opens and closes well. The handle is firm in the sockets with ivory insulators. There are some small bruises and dings. In generally good condition commensurate with age.
