Two bronze medallions in honor of Richard Nixon's Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 1969. One medallion bears the Presidential Seal with the date of the inauguration, while the other features Nixon's face surrounded by his name. The Nixon face medallion contains an artist credit to Ralph J. Menconi. Both medallions are housed in a wooden box that opens and closes via a brass hinge. The outer sides of the box are covered with black leather, with one side featuring a brass plaque engraved "With Deep Appreciation / Richard Nixon / 1968" with a facsimile of Nixon's signature.

Please note: both medallions were previously adhered to the inside of the box but that adherent has dried over time and they both now are loose. The box also contains wear due to age.
