Description

Early Wooden Masonic Lodge Captains Chair, Crossed Keys. This armchair has curved back with turned spindle supports and is painted black with gold accent details, including an insignia of crossed keys which may refer to the secret Freemasons society.

Dimensions are 29 in h x 23 in w x 20 in d. Seat height is about 16.5 in h. Condition is fair, two chips visible in backrest, minor discoloration and staining to seat, heavy crazing and paint crackling throughout the wood. Some paint chipping and loss. Sturdy construction. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
