Large Early Yellow French Tin Limousine with Riders and four lanterns. Pinard circa 1908. Note a similar model illustrated in "The Golden Age of French Toys" by Schiphorst, page 71. Toy at approximately 15.5" toy with folding canvas top. Metal lamps, rubber tires, and hand painted detailing. Reminds us of early Bing toy quality. The rims, steering, and interior light in UV differently. The exterior seems to be a solid older non-UV paint which is excellent. We surmise the chipped interior, rims, tires and steering wheel were restored. The toy's bottom may have been repainted, and gear box is free rolling without a spring. Exterior paint does not blacklight and is thick older paint with appropriate light chips. An overall beauty!
