Condition

The panel is a little bowed. The varnish is scuffed and dirty. The paint surface appears to have lifted and been consolidated in places. There's some minor abrasion around the edge of the panel where an old frame has rubbed.
Inspection under ultraviolet light is hindered by very thick varnish, but it is still possible to see: some strengthening to the costume; a little infilling to the background. Further restoration cannot be excluded.
Unexamined out of the frame.
