Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined; original canvas corners appear to have been folded to accommodate a diamond shaped frame, resulting in diagonal creases in each corners; pigment separation throughout; inpainting visible under strong light in darker areas of jar. Under UV light: inpainting throughout the surface, including along original fold lines in corners, through the woman's face, chest, and hands, as well as a possible repaired tear in lower left edge.
