Item Details

Description

The molded hinged lid opens above a lid with till on dovetailed case with three molded short drawers; the surface overall painted light blue-green with hearts and polka dots in salmon and blue, the facade lettered Christina Lohben 1829. Height 25 3/4 inches, width 54 inches, 24 1/2 inches.

Condition

wear to paint, especially to top; top with shrinkage separation; underside of top with evidence of old insect damage; hardware appears original but with losses; lock gone; applied strip molding to base; does not appear to have had feet; lacks a piece of molding to center on left side
