Ketterer, Ware - A mid 19th century silver pair cased pocket watch, circa 1862, the outer (and inner) case with London hallmarks for Sterling silver, open faced pocket watch, white dial, inner with polychrome painted pastoral scene of a farmer ploughing, black Roman numerals and blued hands, front loading gilt full plate key wind movement, signed C&J KETTERER BRO WARE No 47251, engraved winged balance cock, verge escapement with chain fusée, three arm balance and 4 pillars, inner case, 47mm diameter, verso with offset winding aperture, interior with casemaker's mark of Philip Woodman & Sons, 138.2g gross, presented with the winding key
