Viennese Portico Clock with Musical Movement (Austria, 19th century) Musical movement by Anton Olbrich, stamped "A.OLBRICH / IN WIEN." Not guaranteed to be in working order. 21 1/2 x 14 1/4 x 6 1/2 in. (54.6 x 36.2 x 16.5 cm.) Provenance: From the collection of Frank J. Locuratolo, Mount Vernon, New York; member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors
Condition
Small section of chipped/missing veneer to top of case; brass fretwork bands surrounding dial are broken or loose; metal backplate and screws are present, but corresponding screw holes in case are stripped; 2 inch scratch to outside of glass dial; wood cover on back has small broken section that needs glued together.
