A Burmese carved wood seated Buddha
Circa 1900; Myanmar
The lacquered and gilt carved wood seated Buddha on a lotus over a tiered throne adorned with inlaid polychrome glass, mounted to a wood base
Overall: 18" H x 10.25" W x 7.25" D
Condition
Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, and indentations commensurate with age. Heavy chipped losses and degradation to underside and verso. A few scattered small chips to front and inlay. Rubbed wear to the gilt and polychrome. Figure shaky in its later mounting.
