CARTIER 18 karat Yellow Gold Diamond Bypass Ring
A fine Cartier ring in 18k yellow gold, featuring a Chameleon diamond. It’s a bypass cocktail ring with two oval brilliant cut diamonds and eight baguette cut diamonds inlayed in the shank (see the details in the listing). This Cartier gold ring stands out due to the crossover design and the contrast diamond color. In addition to that, the Cartier workmanship and the quality of the diamonds make this ring a great find. Among fancy color diamonds, Chameleons are one of the rarest. These diamonds are the only natural diamonds that change color depending on the light or temperature condition. Being left in the dark or under the high temperature for 24 hours, this chameleon diamond acquires darker greenish-grayish hue. This 1.24-carat Chameleon diamond comes with a GIA Colored Diamond Report stating that it is a Natural Fancy Dark Greenish Gray diamond.
This fancy color diamond ring is made of 18 karat yellow gold. Besides the Chameleon diamond the ring features a 1.23-carat colorless oval brilliant cut diamond (7.49 x 5.86 x 3.79 mm, G color, VS1 clarity). The gold shank is accented with eight baguette cut diamonds (F-G color, VS clarity, total weight approximately 0.60 carat). The top of the ring measures ½” x ½” (1.2 x 1.1 cm). The ring is size 8, can be resized. It weighs 4.2 grams. It is stamped with Cartier maker's mark, hallmark for 18 karat, French 18k gold import hallmark, serial number.
