Rare "Sandor" figural bronze timepiece & barometer. This bronze figure features the weight lifter "Sandor", holding a barbell over his head with his right hand, showcasing great detail including his muscled body, hair, fingers, and toes. The bronze boasts a gilt bronze patina. The barbell has a working clock on the left and a barometer on the right, both with 2-inch diameters. The clock features a cylinder escapement, and the dial is marked "Cauvet Beziers". The piece sits on a rouge marble round base, dating from the late 19th century. Comes with both keys.
