Late 19th century, rare monkey automaton playing the violin attributed to Jean Phalibois circa 1875, displayed in its own salon with curtains and fireplace furniture, when wound the monkey moves his head side to side, opens his mouth and eyes and plays the violin, in satin & silk costume, restored and in working order, has on/off switch, museum quality, key mechanism, 18.5" x 18" x 9".
