A Mesopotamian duck weight made from a dark stone. It has a long neck and it's head is turned back. The slender neck is undercut and separated from the wide body. The beak rests against it's upper back, flaring at the tail feathers. The weight has a flat base. For similar see: MET Museum Accession Number: 1980.324.2.
