Ca. AD 1300 - 1400.
A collection of eleven glass fragments of mosque lamp, all decorated with blue floral motifs. Gold enamel, which was made with an additional cooking step realised at a lower heat level, was used for the pseudo scripts and phytomorphs patterns. Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014, acquired in 2009 from a UK private collection formed in the 1970s to 1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
