A possibly Hellenistic or later 22.5 ct gold pin consisting of a long tapered needle and surmounted by a temple-like structure made of filigree and adorned with gold beads, closed by a delicate half-dome shaped lid.

Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Gorny & Mosch, sale 150, 11 July, 2006, lot 664. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
