Ca. 800 - 700 BC.
A collection of very fine Etrucsan jewellery, composed of multiple mosaic glass beads, two tubular rock crystal beads and 13 gold filigree beads. The collection also includes three gold and silver Etruscan medallions. These were made by hammering the fine circular foil and then engraving it with geometrical and concentric motifs. On one of the medallions there is a flower shape however, on the other two there is an umbo shape. For similar see Met Museum Accession Number: 65.11.10.

Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Binoche' Paris, 30 May 2012, lot 255. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
