New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC.
An Egyptian carnelian pendant scarab with a ram-shaped head. The amulet is realised in a naturalistic manner, with the wings divided and incised with vertical lines. The four legs diverge at the sides of the body on which a ram's head is set with horns circling the head; the muzzle is elongated and the eyes sunken.
