A Late Period faience hare-shaped amulet. Amulets representing animals were attributed to a deity: a hawk for Ra, the Sun God, a lion for Sakhmi, the War Goddess, a ram for Khnum and a cat for Bast. For similar see: MET Museum Accession Number: 44.4.25.
