An Egyptian 23 ct gold plaque in the shape of a Uraeus. The rearing cobra is detailed with anatomical features, rendered with horizontal lines. For similar see: Met Museum Accession Number: 25.3.167. This piece has undergone X-ray fluorescence analysis to confirm the metallurgical content suggesting its ancient origin and lack of modern trace elements.
