Finely potted red earthenware vasiform bottle with a globular body and long, flaring neck having molded rope-twist rings at base and lip, retaining original flanged lid, the walls of both pieces enamel-painted with ferns and leaves, raised on a rope-twist ring foot, encircling impressed '2 / 714' and decorator's mark '3 / 3242' inscribed with a cypher on bottom, diam. 5 3/4, ht. 11 in.
