Underside of barrel with serial number and some proofs obfuscated by reblue. Splinter tip forearm with reinforced tip and a central escutcheon with point pattern checkering with mullered borders. Interior iron case colored, with serial number. Case colored sideplated boxlock action engraved with a vignette of a mallard over cattails, right with a vignette of a snipe. Cocking indicates protrude from plates when cocked. Underside with patent information on trigger plate. Action flats with serial number, "EG", and 2 punches that look like St. Andrew's cross. Double triggers with serial number on tang. Automatic safety with an "S" visible through pierced slide when on safe. Stock with pistol grip checkered in point panel about the wrist with beveled horn gripcap and an orange NoShoc pad. CONDITION: Barrels with virtually all of a reapplied blue finish with some softening to legends as a result, with minor handling marks. Stocks are very good with some handling marks throughout, but no cracks. Action with traces, perhaps 10-15% case colors, better retention in protected areas such as under lever. Slightly off face, lever a little loose, ejectors are out of time, right fires first. Bores with some mild orange peel towards muzzles.
