A small format painted in mixed media gouache, this wonderful image by artist Richard Hescox was one of several proposed for studio use on a poster.

This hand-painted art has been kept in excellent condition with only minor wear to the corners from handling.

Steven Spielberg's E.T. was inspired by an imaginary friend he created after his parents divorced. The movie brought together cinema-goers worldwide through their love for Spielberg and writer Melissa Mathison's empathetic alien creation. The viewers were moved to tears when E.T. had to go home finally.
