This gelatin silver print with margins, mounted to board, is in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination under raking light, the following are visible: three 1/2-inch soft, crescent-shaped creases atthe center left which do not appear to break the emulsion; scattered tiny glossy areas; a few pinpoint-sized deposits of original retouching; and a 1/4-inch linear accretion in the upper right area of the sky. There is some very minor soiling in the upper margin. The margin edges are gently worn and the corners are bumped. On the mount a thin band of yellowed mounting adhesive surrounds the print at its periphery. There is a single graphite-colored mark in the lower right mount corner. Sold framed.
