This photograph is in generally excellent condition. When viewed in raking light, a few scattered deposits of original retouching can be seen. The signature on the mount had faded somewhat.

The edges and corners of the mount are faintly worn. On the reverse of the mount, 'M 97' is written in pencil in an unidentified hand. A small printed label reads '31 Oct 1986' and is annotated '197' in ink.
