Commander’s Cross of the Order, 58 mm, GOLD, 18.97 g., first model, enclosing a cross made of polished, black onyx, a golden circle flanks the arms and the centre is charged with the red enameled symbol of a yoke bearing the motto “CAESARIS CAESARI DEI DEO” (to Caesar what’s Caesar’s, to God what’s God’s), the reverse, fitted with convex countermedallion acting as retainer of the obverse’s centre, upper, sphaerical loop, round ring and ornamented, tapering ribbon ring, with original, red silk ribbon. A rare decoration of the highest order of Franco’s Spain, excellent condition. I R!
