second half 20th century, comprised of one armchair, h. 35-1/2", w. 22", d. 24", and nine side chairs, h. 34", w. 18", d. 18", each with a curved backrest and in-curved scroll at each end, the back splat in the form of two intertwined serpent-like ebonized figures, raised on klismos-form legs.

In structurally sold, as found condition. One of the side chairs has a 2-1/2" section of loss to the intertwined serpents of the black splat. Scattered dings and light wear to the finish, consistent with use. The seat coverings show wear and light soiling.
