A Renaissance Revival-style marquetry desk

In the manner of Pottier & Stymus, the wood desk with ebonized wood trim, and marquetry foliate accents, the inset leather top with gilt-stamped border surmounted by two raised shelves with a galley centering two raised architectural locking cabinets featuring glazed ceramic tiles depicting urns and Florentine dolphins, all above a central drawer and two more lower locking cabinets conformingly designed

Condition
Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, indentations, dust accumulation, and separation at joints commensurate with age. Scattered chipped losses at corners. Two upper porcelain plaques with hairline crack through the center. One upper cabinet top panel split in twain and retained with the lot. Includes key.
