Comprising one textile with silk embroidery on cotton ground in orange, pink and purple, in an overall triangular pinwheel pattern (102.5" H x 55" W) and one with silk embroidery on cotton ground in orange, pink, and green with six columns of leaf foliage to center and stepped motifs to borders (92.5" H x 45.5" W), 2 pieces

Formed from a Phulkari cloth with silk embroidery on cotton in allover triangular motifs and with a snap front closure

Other Notes: Several other Phulkaris from this collection were gifted to the University of Michigan Museum of Art, Ann Arbor, MI, and were exhibited as part of the museum's show, "The Connoisseurs' Legacy: The Collection of Nesta and Walter Spink," June 18 - September 25, 2016.

Condition
Each in overall good condition with dust accumulation, creasing and wear commensurate with age and use. The first with scattered losses to embroidery and a few small holes, and loss to one corner. The second with heavier wear to center, with some losses to embroidery motifs. The dress with wear and losses to embroidery, primarily to sleeves and hem area. With light soiling overall.
