Published by Bell and Daldy, London 1872. The 6 prints comprise:Nierembergia Rivularis & Linaria Villosa;Phlox Divaricata;Scilla Sibirica & Saxifraga Aizoides Autumnalis;Triteleia Uniflora;Potentilia Ambigua & Erodium Petraeum;Polygala Chamaebuxus & Teucrium Pyrenaicum.These exquisitely coloured wood engravings (xylographs) were made from multiple blocks, prepared and printed by Benjamin Fawcett of Driffield, based on the watercolor paintings of Alexander Francis Lydon. Size: Approx. 6.5 in X 9.5in (16.5cm x 24cm)
