Description World War 2 Era Winchester M1 Carbine chambered in .30 Carbine with a 18" Winchester barrel. The receiver is dated to 1944 with serial number 5650744. Type two barrel band with sling swivel. Parkerized finish with early flat top bolt, cross bolt safety, and push button magazine release. Early L-type peep sight and protected front blade sight. Early two rivet top wood handguard and low wood straight stock with oval cut and oiler. Checkered metal butt plate. Mounted horseshoe tab sling. "W" and "WP" stamp on the top of the barrel. "WINCHESTER TRADEMARK" and serial number on the rear of the receiver. "W" mark on the tang. Right side of the stock has a Cross cannons cartouche and "W.R.A. G.H.D." cartouche. Magazine not included. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very Good with general scratches, scuffs, and wear from normal handling and operation. The parkerized finish is darkened with patina from age and oil. Light and small spots of metal oxidation on the some of the metal parts. Finish loss and metal oxidation on the butt plate. Some scratches, scuffs, and dings on the stock. Action is smooth and appears to function as expected. Bright and mostly clean bore with a touch of metal oxidation and strong visible rifling.
