Description Quality Hardware M1 Carbine chambered in .30 Carbine with seven total magazines of varying capacity, and a 18" Underwood barrel. The receiver was manufactured between September 1943 and May 1944 with serial number 4664239. The barrel is dated 11-43 and is marked with a Flaming Bomb proof. Type 3 barrel band with bayonet lug and attached M4 bayonet. Early war flat top bolt. Push button cross bolt safety and push button magazine release. Adjustable rear sight with protected front blade. Smooth high wood straight stock with oval cut and checkered metal butt plate. Early two rivet wood top handguard. Comes with a M4 bayonet with scabbard and canvas frog, a extra M1A1 folding stock, and seven magazines. The magazines are as follows, three, thirty round magazines, three, fifteen round magazines, and one, five round magazine. The scabbard is marked "U.S. M8A B . M . CO." and appears to have been repainted. The bayonet is marked "U.S.M4 CAMILLUS". Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Check local laws regarding "High Capacity" magazines BEFORE bidding. Condition: Very Good with the rifle displaying light scratches and edge wear from normal handling and operation. Speckling of metal oxidation on the operating rod and the butt plate. General finish wear/light patina. The barrel band appears to have been installed aftermarket with signs/marks of fitment and a miss-matched finish. The stock appears to have been sanded and refinished at some point with light handling wear. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling. The bayonet has scratches, scuffs, sharp edge wear, and nicks on the blade. The guard is a bit loose and has some wobble. Light scratches and scuffs on the M1A1 stock, and metal oxidation on the wire stock and butt plate.
