Massive baseball card collection, 100+ pieces, signed by historic Major League Baseball players, managers, and coaches, ca. 1920-1985. Cards, in black and white as well as color, range from postcard size, 3.5" x 5.5", to chewing gum and cracker box size, 2" x 3". Most are ink signatures (avg. "6-7"), with a few Sharpies. Overall in near fine condition, with a few lesser.

About 15% of the collection represents National Baseball Hall of Famers; 40% represents players from the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs; and 45% represents players from other national franchises. Negro League baseball players are also represented.

Highlights include:

1933 Goudey - 3 cards w/ #33 Kress, 219 Haas, and 227 Herman (?9? - Blue SH).1934 Goudey ? 1 card, #41 Earnshaw (Black SH).1934-36 Diamond Stars ? 2 cards w/#7 Fonseca and 65 Bonura (both NM cards).1949 Bowman ? 4 cards w/#44, 63 (tape), 76 and 83.1950 Bowman ? 17 cards w/#4 (SH), 24, 25 (tape), 37 Appling (SH), 38 (2), 60, 61, 91, 92, 114, 115, 127, 169, 170, 185 and 236.1952 Bowman ? 6 cards w/#5 Minoso (SH), 68, 93, 104, 159 and 221.Exhibits ? 7 cards w/Cavaretta, Spahn, Reese and Musial.1948 Exhibit Baseball Greats ? 1 card, Hubbell.

National Baseball Hall of FamersFeaturing 13 National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum (Cooperstown, New York) souvenir postcards signed by players (in alphabetical order): James "Cool Papa" Bell, Yogi Berra, Louis Boudreau, Stanley Coveleski, Urban Faber, Carl Hubbell, William "Judy" Johnson, George "Highpockets" Kelly, Frederick Lindstrom, Stanley "The Man" Musial, Joseph Sewell, William Terry, and Lloyd "Little Poison" Waner.

Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs including autographs of 20 players from the Chicago White Sox, ranging from the 1930s-1980s. Most are unique within the collection, but outfielder Dave Philley has 3 autographed cards and shortstop Luke Appling has 2 autographed cards (although one is as a Cleveland Indian.)

Of special interest is the signed card of Orestes "Minnie" Minoso, a Cuban expatriate whose MLB career spanned more than three decades! Chicago White Sox postcards ? 4 w/LaRussa.14 players from the Chicago Cubs are represented. Centerfielder Andy Pafko, pitcher Dutch Leonard, and right fielder Bill Nicholson have multiple autographed cards. Chicago Cubs Postcards ? 6 w/Banks (stamped).

The autographs of 5 remaining players, 1st baseman Zeke Bonura, 1st baseman Phil Cavaretta, outfielder Hank Edwards, pitcher Guy Hoffman, and pitcher Bob Rush are counted separately as they played for both the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs.

National FranchisesVarious team-issued photos and postcards (37) including Walter Alston, Earl Averill, Harry Hooper, and Red Schoendienst. Featuring other players' autographs while they were affiliated with the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, Kansas City Athletics, Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Braves, Minnesota Twins, New York Giants, New York Mets, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, and St. Louis Cardinals.An amazing collection of baseball memorabilia!
