This original hand-coloured lithograph is from British Butterflies and their Transformations, arranged and illustrated by H.N. Humphreys, with descriptions by J. O. Westwood. Tropxolum peregrinum. Henry Noel Humphreys (1810–1879), was a British illustrator, naturalist, entomologist, and numismatist.
