A large Japanese cloisonné koro and cover, Meiji period 日本琺瑯蓋罐 明治
Provenance
Of globular form with pierced domed cover, decorated with sixteen lappets of dragon and phoenix to the lower register, the upper body decorated with phoenix, dragon, and floral motifs, all above four stylized Chrysanthemum feet, the cover with similar decoration, topped by a spherical finial.
