Legature con qualche mancanza a dorsi, internamente aloni di umidità. Per il resto buona conservazione. Quest’opera ebbe un immediato successo fra i dotti, al punto da essere più volte ristampata e consultata dagli studiosi di diritto canonico. La Bibliotheca ordina in sequenza alfabetica i principi del diritto canonico e civile, le costituzioni pontificie, le emanazioni dei Concili, i decreti delle sacre Congregazioni, le sentenze della Sacra Rota, nonché le regole per le celebrazioni liturgicheLucio Ferraris nacque a Solero nella seconda metà del XVII secolo. Entrò dell'ordine dei frati minori osservati e, compiuti gli studi teologici e giuridici, fu designato consultore del Sant'Uffizio, esaminatore sinodale della diocesi di Alessandria, padre provinciale della provincia di S. Diego dei frati osservanti e, per un certo tempo, fu parroco della SS. Annunziata in Alessandria. Ferraris morì il 24 febbraio 1763 nel convento di San Bernardino in Alessandria e fu sepolto nella chiesa attigua.

This work was an immediate success among scholars, to the point of being reprinted several times and consulted by scholars of canon law. The Bibliotheca orders in alphabetical sequence the principles of canon and civil law, the pontifical constitutions, the emanations of the Councils, the decrees of the sacred Congregations, the sentences of the Sacred Rota, as well as the rules for liturgical celebrationsLucio Ferraris was born in Solero in the second half of the 17th century. He entered the order of observed friars minor and, having completed his theological and juridical studies, was designated consultor of the Holy Office, synodal examiner of the diocese of Alexandria, provincial father of the province of S. Diego of the observant friars and, for a certain time, he was parish priest of the SS. Annunziata in Alexandria. Ferraris died on 24 February 1763 in the convent of San Bernardino in Alessandria and was buried in the adjacent church.
