This vintage early 20th century original & authentic Tiffany Studios lamp shade support has a round bronze ring featuring short horizontal cut outs around its circumference. The ring is supported on an attached three arm spider originating from a short bronze terminal with a screw that will go into a bronze table base. The overall condition is very good. This base was most probably used to hold an appropriate size leaded shade & the horizontal cuts are for accessory forms like bronze beads art glass etc. This is a rare & wonderful early lamp part from the Tiffany Studios New York. A great find for a Tiffany collector !8 3/4" tall X 18 5/8" diameter (OD)
