Knudsen before opening his own studio in 1947 where he continued to work as a freelance designer for the rest of his career collaborating with an array of Danish furniture brands in the mid-century era including Bernh Pedersen & Son Bramin Jason Rolschau Sibast and Vamo to name but a few.

Condition Details: This exquisite desk chair has recently undergone a partial restoration featuring new upholstery. The solid teak construction is in 100% original vintage condition and has aged to perfection showing only light nicks and surface scratches which can be seen in the detail photos provided. With that said the wood is in overall very good shape and the teak woodgrains are absolutely mesmerizing in natural light. The upholstery redone in a fabulous vintage red tweed is in showroom condition and perfectly offsets the warm woodgrains of the solid teak frame.
This visually striking chair is incredibly comfortable structurally sound and ready for a lifetime more of use.
