John J. Audubon (1785-1851) limited edition, color lithograph titled Sciurus Sub-Auratus, Plate 57, Number 12. It is after the original which was printed in 1845. This addition was printed in Princeton, NJ in the 1980s. It states in the bottom right, “Lith' Printed & Col’ by J. T. Bowen, Philad 1845.”. It states in the bottom left, “Drawn from Nature and Published by John J. Audubon, F.R.S.F.L.S.” With frame, it measures 29.5 inches x 35.5 inches. It is matted and framed under glass in a simple, wooden frame. Acquired from a Metro Washington DC estate. , 29.5IN x 35.5IN (73cm x 91cm), LOT REF #24-233
