1 Large 20th century hand crafted ship button.
Here is an engraved and pigmented natural material in an oval shape. These types of buttons were made in the mid 20th century by a Seattle company (often signed Nugurek) who hired local artists to create scrimshaw handles for knives as well as buttons. This example shows a large masted ship.
Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
