Alongside the Kinnear clan The crest coat of arms and the Latin phrase spem fortuna alit, which means "fortune nourishes hope," are displayed on the artwork by Gentleman Ernest. Canvas coated in oil. Origin Edinburgh label on the back. enclosed in a stylish later gold frame. On the back are hanging threads that are ready for an instant home display. Both signed and dated 1939, dating back to the early 20th century.
