Vintage Harry Bertoia for Knoll Bird Lounge chair with ottoman, Labeled, 1960s, Original Upholstery Originally designed in 1952, these ergonomic lounge chairs are both comfortable and stylish. Bertoia chairs are unique fusions of sculpture, space and industrial material. Bertoia designed both a simple grid of chrome-plated stainless steel rods and the molds that would shape them into functional and comfortable seats with a truly innovative appearance. The lounge chair maintains it's original Knoll label. Original upholstery on both pieces in the set. Chair dimensions: H 38 in. W 37.5 in. D 30.5 in. SH 14.5 in. Ottoman dimensions: H 15 in. W 24 in. D 17 in. LSX.
