Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Hundred Deer Famille Rose Porcelain Zun On Carved Hardwood Stand. Potted in a Zun shaped vase, thick and large, a drum abdomen, short cylindrical neck with flaring mouth rim, and raised on ring foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against famille rose design color depicted of hundred deers on the forest surrounded with dense tree, rocky rock, cliff and mountain. The Hundred Deer design is symbolizes immortality and is the companion of Shoulao, the God of Longevity, a wish for great wealth and success. The deer symbolizes immortality and is the companion of Shoulao, the God of Longevity, while the inclusion of peaches and Lingzhi fungus in the decoration is often a further symbolic of longevity. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
