Charlie Dick (First Nations / Canadian, Kwakwaka'wakw / Kwakiutl / Kwagiulth, 20th century). "Yukon" wooden sculpture, n.d. Signed on underside of base. Title inscribed on top of base. A fabulous wooden totem pole titled "Yukon" and hand-carved by Charlie Dick to depict an eagle perched atop the head of an anthropomorphic beaver or badger. The stylized figures are adorned in black, red, and green pigments that nicely contrast the warm tan of the natural woodgrain. Size: 6.8" W x 18.8" H (17.3 cm x 47.8 cm)
