Lovely Austrian art glass vase by Loetz. This satin glass with air trap decoration was given the name "Octopus." It has a deep brown/burgandy color with gold specks and a gold trim on the top lip. Marked PATENT on the base. Circa late 1880's.

Great condition. No chips or cracks. Some loss to gold enamel around the neck area, see photos. Normal wear due to age.
