Large Petersburg, Virginia folk art wood and tin model boat and stand, both parts with original red, white, light blue and black paint. Truly wonderful detail, down to the three tiny painted wooden lifeboats found inside, (the top lifts off.) Painted tin smokestacks. Tin flag on turned wood pole. Wear, minor losses, but with exuberant folk character to spare. Total size, including stand, Approx. 47 1/4" H x 36" L x 15" W.
